Why do people always need to have experience?
Doesn't interest matter more than experience?

What are you with a 50yrs old programmer, who has 30yrs of programming experience, but does it against his will?

Youth and energy is no match for experience and treachery. Really!

Anyway, the "next gen" is probably the next gen Wii, rumored to come out in about a year, and with more Xbox 360-like performance than the current Wii. Neither MS nor Sony has anything close to a next-gen console yet, AFAICT. Not even specs for what one would be.

If they are 50 years old, I doubt they are software engineers that are programming against their will. EA seems to be looking to get experienced people to build a whole new team. You can't have newbies in charge. I bet they look internally for people who understand the company.
