Eclipse System Requirements

Hi, I'm in college taking information technology and we are doing java, we are probably using eclipse or bluejay, i just want to know whats the hardware requirements because i can't find it on the eclipse site. Also will my AMD 2.2ghz single core with 800MB of ram handle it?

I'm almost certain that it should run it. I used to run it on a machine that was just a bit more powerful and it ran perfectly on it.

For some time I used Eclipse with an old Athlon XP 2800+ with 1GB of RAM and it worked OK. One thing you need to keep in mind is that additional Eclipse plugin might require additional resources. If you do some J2EE dev, you might need to run a web server and/or a database server and things like that.
