Edifier R1280DB or Edifier R1700BT?

Hi,
I am getting new speakers for my PC which I use mainly for gaming.
I am torn between the Edifier R1280DB or Edifier R1700BT. Price is almost the same.

The BT is an older model and the DB came to add more connectivity to the R1280T but my understanding is that it's the same otherwise.

There is a really good sound comparison of the two here although it's with the 1280T not the 1280DB.

Connectivity aside, which one would you say is 'better'?
I know this is subjective but am curious what you think.

How can you ask us to make a recommendation, when we can't even hear the two systems you want us to choose between? What we think is not important. The question is: Which one do you think sounds better?

I am leaning towards the R1280DB. But reading all the comments it looks like everybody prefers the BT. I am no audio expert so would value some input.

Again, What sounds good to you?
With audio equipment being sooo subjective, it really matters not what other people think.
