exactly, but some people from the west have to be stupid and think we want to be like them

they have their lives, want to live a stupid life, so be it, but they will not force us to be like them

[citation][nom]goldengoose[/nom]My main issue is think how many jobs would be lost through this. They arn't helping themselves either. If i set up a porn website which generates revenue through advertising, i'm bringing cash into the country - they are just stripping this from them and then realise they will have alot of sexually frustrated people on their hands with no jobs. Probs not to that extreme but you get my point.[/citation]
are you an idiot or something, people here don't buy their own copies of windows, do you think they would buy that stuff

even if you're speaking of advertising, people here don't start sites like that, it's the immoral westerns like you, they get the money while our people become perverts and corrupts

[citation][nom]freggo[/nom]"completely block internet pornography in Egypt"Many countries have tried...and failed :)You can make it more difficult, a bit inconvenient... but unless you pull the plug on the net (Like Bavaria tried!) that's not going to happen. As for 'analyzing images'.... so I distribute them as ZIP files or TrueCrypt files. Try to Analyze That :)[/citation]
WOW don't you ever visit alexa, enter the saudi arabian ranks and see the first site of that type,
then enter the US, Iraq, the UK....
when will you ever learn to respect our morals and values, just because it doesn't oppose yours doesn't mean it doesn't oppose ours, and the people want that, what more do you want

and fuck anon if they try to do anything to prevent this, we still won't stop, we don't want to live like you, we have our own lives, you don't control the world

No one is forcing you do do anything, you dimwit. You guys can be prudes if you want, but that doesn't make it okay to force your views on your entire population, because that's what you're doing. We're not oppressing you with sex, because it's your choice to look at it or not. But you are making choices for people who can think for themselves There's bound to be people who take no issue with pornography, sex, or the human form who live in your culture. This stuff isn't hurting anyone, it's all consensual and it's normal human nature. Don't bound others because of what some fairytales and invisible sky wizards have led you to believe. You're welcome to bound yourself however, that's your choice.

Censorship never works when there is a preexisting demand. This applies to anything and I mean anything. What you will see if people just bypassing the normal route to get what they want anyways. Even if they somehow made it beyond the average persons capability to get it online this will only bring in cheap pirated physical media to be sold on the black market.
This is going to cost way more to enforce than they realize and in the end will prove futile.

Right... because the Quran not only predicts pornography but also photography, the internet, and every other tech required just to bring you internet porn. Tell you what, if you can show me where this 7th century book makes mention of all of this I will convert to Islam right now.

What is that supposed to mean? There's nothing to feel sorry about; sex is natural, and is safe and fun when it's consensual. If you're scared or think that vaginas are evil, that's your problem. I don't think like you, however. I accept my humanity, my hormones, and I don't pretend like my sex drive is something I should be ashamed of. I feel sorry for you if you think it's something to fear.

@halcyon, @madooo12, @RockNRollz, etc

Why do you feel the need to ban it? If you don't like it, DON'T WATCH IT. Let people decide for themselves

No one asked you to speak for your population either. Let people make their own choices you dimwit. Not everyone is you, especially your culture. I don't speak for my culture either; I let people make their own choices. You should give people that freedom too.

and the prophet also said "العين تزني و زناها النظر" alaino tazni wa zinaha alnazar, which means the eye makes a great sin by looking (at what is haram to look at), you never even read the quran so please read it before making any stupid comments

Yeah, your parlament is against the freedom of choice, I get that you prude. But your population isn't 100% muslim; there are people who don't follow your religion that live in your country. And you're making a choice for them, when they're free to make that themselves. If everyone in your religion is against porn, I don't see the big deal. Just don't look it at, how hard is that?

give them freedom to murder, sell drugs, steal, torture too, just like what you did in iraq

this is none of the western business, stupid human rights groups can whine, they don't live with us

99.999999% of people who watch that stuff are children and they waste their time
