Emachines netbook problems

I am trying to restore an emachines 250-01G16i with XP back to factory defaults. The program runs and then hangs either on setting up cpmputer or will only run in safe mode. Is there a site i can go to and download the operating system to an external device to load from a portable HDD?

Emachines' customer service should offer some help with your problem. Otherwise, you will need to purchase the OS and load it from a USB stick.
