Email change on Skype

This page states that if you sign in to Skype using Microsoft account the process of changing email address is different but it doesn't tell you how to do it. Can someone help. My son wants to change his email address & I need to ensure he can still use Skype.

Skype is separate to email. One doesn't affect another.

Ok thanks - so I just create him a new email and then change Skype to the new email?

No - Skype doesn't use email.

No - i7Baby said it all - the e-mail is toitally separate. Just keep using Skype and receive e-mails in the normal way using any address you like..

Sorry confused .... in Skype settings there is an email - do I change that to his new email address?

Only if you want him to receive Spam mail from Skype, the rest of Microsoft and anyone else who pays them for the e-mail address.
