Ethernet cable?!, IDK plz help!

OK so my WiFi said to use an Ethernet cable on my laptop, but now it is sitting on my computer desk next to the router, how do I put it back to its normal WiFi....Thing?

Huh? You need to connect via ethernet to config the router. Once you set a SSID and passphrase you can disconnect the laptop.
