Excel like spreadsheet in html web page

Hi,
I made an Excel spreadsheet with lots of data (class record) and saved it in excel format
but i want to convert it to HTML file.

Q. So how to convert it into html file with following conditions :
1. It should run on all the browsers (like mobile browsers, desktop browsers, browsers without java script or flash or html5 support).
2. this spreadsheet contains some numerical data, and i want that user can click on top of a row and can sort the data of table according to increasing or decreasing values in that row.

So can anyone help me out to solve this problem ?

did you try importing it into Google Docs...

in that case look into tables in HTML or go all out with WordPress or your own PHP/MySQL setup... Maybe Drupl?

wordpress, php, mysql, drupl are too much for my tiny brain

is it possible to create a table in html which user can sort according to him ?

I do not think that HTML can handle the sorting options... :-(

i will check if it can be solved using java script else i would have to do with no shorting option
