external factory reset android phone, now google account sign in is on a loop?

I lost my phone today. I factory reset my phone from my android tablet. I finally got my phone back tonight. I powered it on and it’s asking to sign in with the google account previously used to sign into the phone. I enter my email and password, and it keeps looping back, asking for my email address again. I’ve tried all the other options of “forgot password”, Answer security questions, send verification codes to another email, and it’s saying it can’t verify it’s me. I tried going to the google account to add or remove it and there is no option to do so.

This is an unlocked Moto G (3 or 4 Gen) used on straight talk.

It is possible that your are entering a different email and password than the phone had before. Or, if the phone wasn't obtained new, then it would have reverted to the original owners info.
