External Monitor Output not Working on Gateway Laptop

I have a Gateway E265M laptop and the external monitor output stopped working. I usually use this to hook up ot projectors in meetings. I've never really had a problem and then, after trying to use it for a meeting at a meeting, it won't work.

I have heard that there may be a need to adjust monitor frequency or someting like this. Has anybody got any tips?

Maybe. Just make sure it wasn't disabled.

First go to your settings and make sure it is not disabled or that your desktop is not put to show on only 1 monitor.

And or hold the Windows button and P to extend or show on a certain "projector/monitor"

Give that a try and let's see if I can keep helping you if no one else comes with a solution.
