Facebook messanger and other applications like download managers are not working

My laptop has just spopped downloading from youtube and other sites. I discovered that applications like facebook messanger, IDM internet download maneger, skype, and FDM are not working too. What must i do???

Ok i just instald a new operating system and it works. thanx guys
