Facebook scrolling and chatting really slow

Hello guys i have a really decent system
i5 6600k
gigabyte gtx 770 4gb
1x8gb Gskill ripjaws V 2400mhz
gigabyte z170x gaming 5

and facebook when scrolling on the news feed lags a lot. Even when i try to type to chat with someone the letters appear after some miliseconds. It's too laggy. I have normal temperatures, normal cpu and ram usage. Any ideas?
This happens to Chrome and Opera as well.

I believe everyone is having this issue right now. Facebook just did an update a few weeks ago and now these features are lagging. It's probably just unoptimized code.

About two weeks ago, everybody I know started having this problem. It started right when the notifications drawer was slimmed by a few pixels, which proves it's related to the update. Most likely dirty code.

Give 'em a few weeks to sort it out.
