Failure on notebook acer aspire 5230

after format the harddisk of my notebook acer aspire 5230, it dont start again, only see a black screen, i connect a monitor to vga port to verify the signal video and nothing happens, only a black screen, would be the cpu is dead?

same problem with aspire 5230,the laptop is running but nothing on the screen, just black screenm, any solution please !?

I had the same problem. After trying everything including 1. Making BIOS Virtual Floppy from CD 2. Reseating GPU, CPU & 3. Reapplying Thermal Grease, It turned out to be a bad memory stick. Removed bad ram and it started right up.
