Fan Control Software

Hello

Recieved a school laptop which works great and all, but the fan is very annoying. It's either going on full speed or not going at all. I'd much rather have it run at a medium speed all the time than having to listen to the fan switching speeds every 20 seconds.

By "school laptop," do you mean a laptop purchased by you/your parents/relatives/etc and given to you to use for school, or do you mean one which was leant to you by your school? Could you please answer this because otherwise it's quite ambiguous. Also, if it's being leant to you by your school, you can't install software on your school laptop without the permission of the school. Provided this is the case, we can't help you until we know that your school has okayed it.
