I'm not going to lie. I am NOT impressed by REALISM of these screenshots at all. The lighting does not look natural at all. If you search google for a while, you'll find realistic screenshot threads for Crysis using lighting and texture mods.

[citation][nom]descendency[/nom]It's not a great gaming CPU unless this engine is more optimized for Quadcores than previous engines. The E8500 was among the best made around that time. The Q6600 is quite a few generations behind in terms of gaming use. I'm not saying it's a bad CPU, but upgrade time might be coming soon if you want to continue getting good gaming performance.[/citation]

That's only if you run it at stock speeds. A Q6600 @ 3.0 (9x333) 3.2 (8x400) or 3.6 (9x400, if you got that lucky) is still PLENTY and will continue to be PLENTY for the majority of REAL games to come for the next year or two. (By real games, I mean games like FC2, Crysis, COD, BFBC2, etc.)

I'm not into fantasy games like WOW, etc.

But the detailed environment like that looks fun to explore!

Great work. Would love to check it out.

I think that it looks great EXCEPT for the lighting. Crysis came out around the time that all of the bloom lighting effects were being added to video cards and these images show it being over done.

[citation]It is annoying you have to click the zoom then enlarge and then the actual picture to show up in a new window in firefox.Something small they can fix like 1 click to enlarge.[/citation]

I couldn't agree more. This is retarded enough in any post but having to put up with this bug on a multi-screenshot article? I gave up on the article and moved on though I would have liked to see the screenshots.

I know this would never happen, and im sure no console could run it, but a god of war game for pc based on this engine would be awesome!

[citation][nom]gti88[/nom]Still, the graphics is not very compelling. Need to wait another 10 years. I assume, I won't be interested in gaming by then.[/citation]
This statement is somewhat paradoxical. Why not just stop gaming now and then you can thank yourself later for saving all that time & money not spent on gaming.
