The Q6600 is quite a few generations behind in terms of gaming use. I'm not saying it's a bad CPU, but upgrade time might be coming soon if you want to continue getting good gaming performance.[/citation]
That's only if you run it at stock speeds. A Q6600 @ 3.0 (9x333) 3.2 (8x400) or 3.6 (9x400, if you got that lucky) is still PLENTY and will continue to be PLENTY for the majority of REAL games to come for the next year or two. (By real games, I mean games like FC2, Crysis, COD, BFBC2, etc.)
