File format for playing audio books in car

Hello,
I have been trying to convert MP3 files to something that will work in my cars CD player. I've downloaded some little programs but they want to go from something else to MP3's. Is there a way I can do this?

Did u burn the CD as a Audio CD and not as a Data CD?

Needs to be Audio CD format! Do u know how to do that?
