Firefox : Disable text highlighting in Tab Mix Plus

Installed firefox today after moving to chrome for a few years.
I installed this extension called "Tab Mix Plus" which adds options like "close right tab" "close left tab" etc.
But whenever i open a tab using the middle mouse button, the text in the newly opened tab appears in red italic font until i click on that tab.
How do I disable that?
I want the text to appear with the default font & black color.

In Tab Mix Plus options (ctrl+shift+a to access addons panel): Display -> Tab -> Highlight. Deselect everything you need. Apart from disabling highlighting, you can customize font and color as well.

After moving chrome extensions for sometime and coming back to firefox I had no idea where these settings would be located. Tab Mix Plus never gave me a clue.
