Firmware update Sony tv KDL-40w4000

Hi,
I messed up the firmware of my tv. Its a Sony Bravia KDL-40W4000. The screen just continuously alternates from Red, Green, and Blue and then a screen with a test strip of colours.
I cant find any replacement firmware or any answer to repair on the net.
Please help.

If that doesn't work you will have to take it to a sony service center where they can flash the bios manually, or you may have to take it to a electrical/TV repair shop and have it jtaged and flashed (if possible).

I have this very same problem. Did you manage to get it working again? Need help on this pretty urgently.
