Folder splitter to split a 11GB folder for transfer and then merge them

Hi,

Basically this is what I envision and want to happen:

* I have a folder with 11GB of files inside of it and I want to transfer it to another computer

* I have two 8 GB Flash Drives

* I need a way to split the folder into maybe a 6GB and a 5GB folder also and copy them two my two flash drives (the 7GB to my 1st 8GB, and the 4GB to my 2nd) and then merge them again in the other computer.

Is there any software out there that is fit for what I want to do?

any help, comment, and suggestion is much appreciated.

Does this folder have many files, or just a few really large ones?

It actually has 4 subfolders with lots of files that adds up to a big amount and also some files

Then just copy 1 sub folder at a time to the USB drive.

Once you move all the folders over just put them back into one main folder.

You don't need a program to manually move files over.

1st sum all files to one file.. i.e creat a .rar file or .iso file. then use hjsplit to break it into pieces and use same software to merge them back..

Lol, why would you do that when winrar is capable of creating multiple archives any size you want that can extract back into one folder.

bcz hjsplit is easy to use as compare to Winrar (for noobs lot of options in winrar are enough to confuse them)

Totally disagree.

Right click folder, set for 4GB archives, move them over, extract.

It's so simple to do.
