Solved! Foreign screw type, need help identifying

Cannot identify a screw on a laptop. Looks like a hex screw except the points are a little more square and there is an outcrop in the center. It is on an old Toshiba Satellite M115–S3154.

Looks almost like a security Torx screw, but not as rounded in the corners.

Where on the laptop is this?

Underside, right. Holding one of the case covers on. Next to a label marked F4.

Is this a used laptop? I feel like someone has opened it before and replaced the screws with these ones to prevent other people from tampering with it...
