Fujitsu Lifebook a544 won't start flashing power button

Hello all,
My Fujitsu Lifebook a544 won't boot. When I start the laptop it has no display and the power light flashes along with another symbol. So far I've tried doing a hard reset, using another hdd and changed the RAM. It's a good laptop and I'd hate to have to replace it any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like motherboard failure. These can be replaced if you can find the board. Cost varies fairly widely from one model laptop to another, and replacing it can be pretty involved work.

Thanks for the reply, I'm gonna order one on eBay and hope for the best, I have a bit of experience taking laptops apart so I'll go for it and post the result.

Good luck! A second opinion wouldn't hurt, either. Some technicians do free estimates/diagnostics, even.
