got a question

if i take out the hard drive from my asus put in one i bought and boot up windows with a windows 7 disk what do i do about al the asus stuff

i found this sight below but how do i do it do i download it all individualy and if so do i do it with the
http/support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

global (dlm) or global or china or p2p

and is there any chance of screwing up my laptop by doing this.

Assuming the original system is still working, you need to copy on to a memory stick any folder named Asus, and the folders c:\windows\inf, c:\windows\system32\drivers and c:\windows\system32\drvstore. To be able to see the last three, you need to open up to be able to see hidden files and folders. Copy them into the new system as soon as the installation completes then restart the system and all should be well.[/#000ff]
