G73sw not booting

Hello,
I have purchased the G73sw, for $1349, awesome price I think, but windows will not load with my USB 3.0 eGo portable drive plugged in, I have updated my drivers, removing them first, and my BIOS is up-to-date. Any ideas? I am also having the slow frame rate issue with the webcam.

I have a correction, it will not boot up with the extra power USB plugged in, it will boot up with just the USB 3 plug, not that big an issue I guess.
