Galaxy S8+ wont turn on.

my Galaxy S8+ went blank while on the charger and will not turn back on. No lights to indicate charging either. I have tried using the buttons to perform a reset. Nothing... The phone is new and it is very frustrating . Any ideas will be appreciated

If it is new you need to take it back or contact the manufacturer. No new device should give you such problems.
