So when playing rocket league i experience a massive fps drop from 150-200 down to less than 10. this would happen 4 times in a 5 min game for about 10-15 secs each time. However if i take out my charger i wont experience this lag but i will constantly be at 30 fps. I've downloaded the latest drivers and checked on MSI afterburner if its heat related but its at 40-50°C.

Also on afterburner it says during these lag spikes that im using 100% of my cpu but nothing else is open. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

I'm guessing either a faulty board (bad DC jack, problematic circuit, etc.) or a faulty charger. I believe your system uses NVidia Optimus; it sounds like it's frequenting a power saving mode because the power delivery from the AC adapter is not consistent. Power saving mode = low FPS.

You'll need to contact Asus, but they will probably want you to send the computer in for inspection. You can do that and be without the computer for awhile, or try to purchase an adapter and hope it works.
