Georgia Public Television

It appears that Georgia Public Television should be available to 4DTV
owners at AMC-3 and transponder 640. When I attempt to view it all that
is shown is the receiver generated banner of Georgia Public TV, but with
no picture. Has anyone had any luck getting this transmission?
I have not had any luck getting the public television and state operated
public broadcast telecasts from this particular satellite.

AMC 3 KU Ch 640. I've got it on right now.

Do you get Channel 600 OK? I do, but cannot get 640 even
with tickling the skew and other parameters.

I could not get PBS on K3-600 until the dish and skew was repeaked. Then it
came in fine.
Still could not get Georgia Public Broadcast. Tried to access 640 by
channeling up from 600 and by directly entering the digits 640. Tried to
repeak the dish and skew knowing that the channel was an even channel as is
600 and on the same sat. Still nothing happened.
Then I started fooling with the Guide and looking at the GPB programing. Tried
to access the 640 channel by picking the program and hitting the ENTER key. My
problem was that I tried to access a program that had already aired. Then luck
stuck. Once again I tried to access GPB but this time by picking the current
program that was being broadcast. And magically the 640 GPB came to life.
Try this and see if you can get GPB. I am new to this receiver, only having it
up and going for two days. Good luck!
