My only hope that my widespread theft of big
dish services will one day drive them out of the
consumer business altogether. I hope I sow
some bankrupt companies.

My only hope is that the costs will rise so high that thieves like you will
spend so much on hardware that you won't be able to afford to steal and/or
better still the FBI will come knocking at your door to give you a nice room
for 20 years where the only thing you'll able to steal is the fleas out of
someone else's hair!

Even if subscription C band goes down,we can still get all kinds of
programming (unlike DBS subscribers) for free\ITC,without stealing,or
breaking any laws. Our conscience is clear, yours condemns you!

My heart goes out to all the folks who have to pay higher programmings
costs, because of jerks like you who only think of themselves and never stop
to think that everybody pays for theft!

It's definatly time to stop with the "you" stuff. I don't steal TV. I never
have.
I've always paid for my subscriptions, and I still do. I'm just tired of the
high
and mighty attitude. You have fun watching those free/in the clear channels
when your pay channels are gone. I'll be watching history channel while my
wife watches Lifetime in another room, and you'll be hunting for something
other than shopping channels and NASA reruns. Sure, you'll always have
your big dish. You stubbornly stick to your BUD, doesn't really matter to
me.
I've got my channels.

We;'re not as high and mightly as you think.

It isn't high and mightyness to follow integrity and preserve truth.honour
and justice.

If you'll take an honest look back at the satellite tv industry you will see
that theft has hurt all of us and that goes without saying for every
industry!Theft has to come out of somebody's wallet!

Why is this thread even existing in a C-band newsgroup?
C-band scrambling is not compromised, is it? I just
subscribe- it's cheaper than the little dishes anyhow
(at least for now).

I think the folks want to make sure that things don't dwindle down to having
threads devoted to undermining signal security--regardless of the transport
mechanism.

Cable, DSS or BUDs

Your assessment of those being honest are hypocrites is unfounded.

About free speech. Try talking about robbing a bank while you are waiting in
line at your local branch and see where that gets you. Try talking about
clever tactics regarding assembling and detonating bombs at your local
airport and while you are at it, complain to the ACLU about free speech.

What you don't understand is that with every freedom there comes a
responsibility to be respectful and to be honorable. Otherwise, you have
anarchy.

Haha, Valdivar has become the thought police!
We'll eliminate the crime by never letting them THINK about it
in the first place! Discuss it? Oh, I think not!

He's even worse on the Sat Forum, some of those guys talk
about purges. Just for disagreeing, they would be at home
in totalitarian countries.

You're overeacting. The truth is there are few people lately in the satforums
that have gone beyond disent and are making trouble(I'm not trhe only one of
that view)!

As for any crime, whether it be satellite theft, shop lifting, bank
robbery,rape,or murder,ow whatever....NOBODY commits the crime without
thinking about it and planning it out first!

As I also said, free speech is fine,as long as it's not entertaining criminal
activity! That's where the line must be drawn and for obvious reasons,a
satellite board would be wise not to allow discussions of it.That's why I
like the satforums!They're well moderated!

Moderate, a noun meaning avoiding extremes.
Purging for dissent is not moderation.
