Get my verizon phone to work on sprint

can i buy my friends verizon phone and have it work on my sprint account?

Don't bother, you have to mess with settings on the phone, and somehow talk Sprint to activate the phone on their network which they are very very unlikely to do unless you lie to them about what the phone is. They won't have the ESN in their system and will not want to add a new one for a phone that is not theirs.
