I am look for a way to get both my speaker which are plugged directly into my mother board using the green, black and orange cables and my optical audio which again is straight from my motherboard to play at the same time. If I have both Speakers and Realtek Digital Output enable sound will only go through speakers so if I want to use my optical I have to go to audio device manager and disable the speakers. I was wondering if there was a way so that I wouldn't have to do this so I won't have to mess with enabling and disabling devices all the time as it is very annoying

Solution
You could set the PC for optical out and split it with one of these:
http://www.amazon.com/VIMVIP-Toslink-Digital-Optical-Splitter/dp/B00OY0WBTA/ref=pd_sxp_grid_pt_0_1
you can feed one output to whatever the optical out is now connected to and the other one to this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/261325168149?lpid=82
that would give you multichannel output for your speakers. They would both play at the same time if you wanted. If you substitute a Toslink switch for the splitter you could select either one with it.

Is there a way that I won't have to keep disabling my speakers?
