Solved! Glitchy display

O.K. so my display does not have multi-color hughs, It doesnt turn completely off at start up. Anyway recently my screen started to "glitch" up when I move the display. I get these black horizontal lines the flicker on my display that distorts the image. it only happens when I adjust the screen. To me it seems like a hardware problem. Perhaps a short in the wiring or a bad connection. Dose anyone else have any ideas of what it might be. I have to use this laptop for a number of years before I can afford to replace it.

It sounds to me like it could be a bad inverter or an inverter on its way out. If it continues to both you, check out the website below to obtain one. It is a pretty easy fix (take a look at the thread at the top of the forum on how to take apart a laptop).
