Gmail Setup Problems

When setting up a new Galaxy TabS2 do you need to use a new Gmail account?
I first tried setting up with my Gmail account used on my pc but kept getting messages that someone else had this account?
If it is a new Gmail account can you use it with your, or anyone else's pc?

You don't need to make a new account. It sounds like you selected the option to make a new account, then tried to log into your existing account.

Hit the back button until it lets you choose between an existing account and a new one, then enter your account details there.

We had so many problems with set up that I put it back to factory settings and put a new email account on and it now seems to work ok but I don't know whether I should use this account on my pc now or leave it just for tablet. We hate this android tablet - worst thing we ever bought - sorry - end of moan

If you want to sync the accounts, you will need to use it on the computer too. If you don't want that account, you can clear it out of your phone and still use your exiting one.

Thanks for help but I will never understand how this tablet works -I think I need to go on an android course - give me a desktop pc any day. Does anyone know a good guide for how to use a Samsung Galaxy TabS2?
