good all purpose speaker/player

Looking for a good, relatively inexpensive speaker to stream music. Want to be able to use outdoor or in, small enough to sit on kitchen counter top. Want to be able to listen to local radio stations (like baseball game, etc) as well as stream Spotify, etc. Any recommendations?

Listen to local stations, so you need a speaker with a radio tuner? Or are you going to be using something else for that?

A price range would help, there are some good deals now for good speakers, I picked up the UE Megaboom to use with an Amazon Dot for $150 new, they are usually about $300. The smaller UE Boom 2 also has some sales on specific designs. You need a turner for them though, or use a Dot which is $30 now. Or just get the Echo for $100 which sounds better now that they updated it's firmware.
