Good Programming Language For a absolute Beginner?

I am considering the idea of learning a programming language between now and when I enter college. I have absolutly no programming experience what so ever. And i was wondering which would be the best language for me to learn since i have no experience what so ever.

I will be starting my college course in a year and a half and that will involve doing coding with udk.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Learn C#. The syntax is very similar to that of UDK and you will get to learn the basic concepts like classes, if statements, etc.. Plus, it can lead to very well paying jobs.

Download the compiler (see my previous post). Run the samples and try to understand them.

See if your public library has anything with C# in the title. Mine has 174 of them right now, so I think your chances are very good.
