The i5 does not have on a Q, the i7 is a quad core which is why it has on the q

The Core i7 is overall more powerful, but gaming depends much more on the GPU than it does on the CPU. If you have extra cash lying around, you might want to consider going with one of the GTX 660M / GTX 670M equipped PCSpecialist models.
