I wonder how the openness of plain-vanilla Android and specifically the pure-breed Nexus devices (unlocked bootloaders, dev.- friendly and so on) will bode with Motorola's locked-up practices. This remains to be seen, indeed.
But, I always welcome an un-cluttered tablet and I have faith in the devs at XDA.

I was really disappointed Asus did not get the Transformer Prime out before Christmas because it was going to sell like hot cakes. I received an email from Amazon stating it will be 4/7 weeks which puts it squarely in line with iPad 3 launch rumors. I feel once again the Android tablets are going to miss the mark. Why oh why?

Better than it being released and ridiculed for crappy wifi performance. Android fans aren't as forgiving as iPhone 4 fans :-(
I had the Transformer Prime on my x-mas list too :-(
