GPS position

Hi,

I'm looking for a GPS position program. Nothing special. The same
information as on the GPS program of TomTom. Coördinates, speed in knots
and a kompas. The font size of the coördinates is to small, i would use
this on a boat.
If this could be freeware, even better.

Thanks for your feedback.

I just used google (http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search) to
look up
gps
in this newsgroup (microsoft.public.pocketpc) and got 8810 hits. That
would be a _lot_ to wade through. But you will probably devise a
better search method.

GPSeasyCE.exe is the app that does what you want (not sure about speed)
....for free.

Sorry... wrong program... the one I intended to reference was "GPSInfo.exe"

....and it does have speed and direction.

Also peek at : http://www.visualgps.net/

They have a freeware GPS logger for PC and PocketPC. I've used the
VisualGPSCe on my Ipaq 4150 with Tomtom wired GPS combo ok. Only
niggle was that I had to make sure _no_ programs were in memory that
looked at the GPS.
