Hi!
I have an Acer v5-573G laptop, with GT 750m graphics card. Now I recently had some trouble with it and was told to uninstall it, So I did this via the device manager. However removing the driver from there seems to have completely removed the GPU from existance. It does not show in the device manager anymore, And when trying to install new drivers from nvidia it says I don't have the right hardware.

Now, I've tried doing a clean reinstall of the drivers with Guru DDU in safe mode. I also tried installing new drivers in the safe mode without any luck.

I also ran Windows Trouble shooter which detected that a 3d adapter was missing drivers but was unable to fix the issue.

So I need some help here.

Thanks!

have you tried to install the drivers manually? If not, then here's the link for the drivers:
Windows 7 64 bit: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/375.70/375.70-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql.exe

Windows 8 (and 8.1) 64 bit: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/375.70/375.70-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql.exe

Windows 10 64 bit: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/375.70/375.70-notebook-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe

Uninstall the current GPU driver first, then install this one. It should be fairly straightforward after that. If you do not know how to do it manually, feel free to PM me, or just say it here.

Sorry it took a while to answer. But I uninstalled my nvidia drivers via DDU. And when trying to install nvidias drivers it just says that I don't have the right hardware.

I made some progress tho. I got my GPU to show up in device manager. I typed set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1 into command prompt, And an unknown 3d adapter showed up, So I updated the drivers to that via the device manager and not it's showing as it should in the device manager. I still can't install nvidia drivers tho.
