GPU wont run

My cousin bought himself parts to build a computer. I helped him assemble the parts and everything but when we launch the pc the gpu spins for few seconds and stops.

We launched the pc with internal graphics and downloaded drivers for the gpu, after it was done we restarted the pc and went into bios again.

I have disabled the internal graphics and chose initial display output as PCIe 1 slot where the card is. The problem is the pc boots and i have display image but the fans on the pc dont spin and the pc doesnt recognise the gpu.

Some 1tb harddrive

I am wondering about the psu.

I used a similar make still 450 watts 9on pcpartpicker to check compatibility and everything was good said everything was compatible

Does the GPu work with any other game?

I havent launched any games because im afraid something might happen to the gpu.

The thing is it doesnt recognise the card in the device manager so I have no idea what to do.

And you have installed the proper graphics card drivers I assume?
