Hello,i have intel graphics 3000 incorporated in my laptop and 4 gb of ram,so if i upgraded to 8 gb ram will it be able to run AC unity ? Note that intel graphics 3000 runs far cry 3 and Thief pretty well. Thank u.

You need at least 6GB ato run Unity according to system requirements from gaming websites.

So you should be able to run the game but the real question is, is it playable? Well since you are able to run those FarCry 3, Thief pretty well, then you should be fine. However you may need to turn the resolution down.

But why not build a PC or buy one?

The answer to this is on the Ubisoft page at:

http://blog.ubi.com/assassins-creed-unity-pc-specs/

The minimum video card requirements are:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon HD 7970 (2 GB VRAM)

So none of the Intel integrated video systems will qualify. There are mobile GPUs from both AMD and NVIDIA that will work, but it looks to be challenging. I have a similar problem with my laptop and its HD4000 video and 8GB of RAM, no AC Unity on it.

As others have pointed out, upgrading the laptop RAM just fixes the basic memory requirement - not the graphics card one.

First of all. You will need more ram but its not the one that makes your game look good. Its the GPU. Make sure you have at least 680 (would recommend more knowing the awful PC ports).

I already have a pc but it's weaker then my laptop and above that the new nvidia graphics cards cost a fortune so it's just like buying a ps4 ,unless you know a cheaper way to have the needed graphic card that is able to run AC unity

gimme your pc specs.. ill suggest you a card

trust me.... it is slow... ubisoft are notorious for worst pc ports and they dont optimize their games well enough.. your laptop will be begging for mercy

Can you give us your motherboard model? He might be able to upgrade to a core 2 quad. If I were you, I would save some money, sell your two computers, and build a new computer from scratch. You can build a pretty damn good gaming computer for $500. Go look on YouTube and see for yourself.

OP, please answer this. Are you gaming AC on a PC or laptop?

If you go with your laptop, you will have to turn the resolution to the lowest with the lowest setting possible for it to be playable at 30FPS or not even playable.

My best bet is either buy a gaming laptop or buy/build a PC.
