GT 745M not giving good results.

Hey people, first post . Im having problems with my NVidia gt 745m. Here are my laptop specs:

CPU: 2.4GHz 4th Gen Intel Core i7-4700QM Quad core 8 threads Processor with Turbo up to 3.4Ghz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT745M 2GB with CUDA and Optimus + Intel HD 4600 Graphics
RAM: 8GB DDR3 (1x8GB) 1600MHz Ram.

The problem im having is when I try play a game. A game that has cheap graphics and not big. Similar to counter strike. Im getting really bad fps, the max fps you can get in that game is 260. What im getting with my NVidia card is 60. All on high performance settings and everything on lowest. (blood off, 16 bit colour, weather effects off ect.) When I play with Intel HD graphics im getting 150-180 fps. Can anyone please help me and explain why my card cant even deliver decent fps to this game? Ive updated the drivers. Sounds like you have Vsync enable which will lock the fps to 60

open NVdia control pannel
go to manage 3D setting
select the prefered grapic processor
change it to High performance Nvidia Processor
apply
tada

I did all that and it still lagged. So I sold my laptop and got a PC lol and no issues at all yet after 3 years.
