GT 840M not working on ASUS A455L

help my GT 840M on A455LN is now working!
so it's free dos, then i install windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64 into it
installing all driver
nvidia driver is not working
things i have done:
- reinstall lastest nvidia driver
- reinstall it with old driver

P.S. I don't want to reinstall my OS.

Specs:
Intel i5-5200U Up to 2.7GHz
Nvidia GT 840M (2GB DDR3 i guess)
4GB LPDDR3 1600MHz
1TB HDD

Although it is strongly suggested that you get the latest driver for any of your hardware device from the vendor's official website, if something goes wrong and the downloaded drivers are not supported on your PC, you can try using any of the available third-party driver detecting programs.

A few such programs are:

  DriverPack Solution
  Device Doctor, etc.

For laptops, you want to use the driver from the laptop vendor, not from the chip maker. Get the drivers from ASUS, or contact them for support. Although since you installed your own (likely pirated since it's Ultimate) version, they won't help you.

Try uninstalling all nvidia drivers, PhysX and GeForce Experience and try installing the ones available from ASUS
