Hello
I have Acer aspire V3-772g with gtx 850m. I have it for about 4 years.
Recently I discovered that GTA V has become quite laggy and as a result I cleaned my Pc's fan and changed thermal paste and pads.
Also I upgraded from win 8.1 to win 10, for no good reason apparently.
THE PROBLEM: gpu temp is now always about 53 c and when I launch any kind of game, it increases to 92 c almost instantly. Also PC fan is ignoring GPU and reacts only to CPU temp changes.
ALSO: I used NoteBook FanControl and increased fan speed to 100% and gpu temp did not change, almost as gpu was not connected to that brown cooling pipe thingy.

The fan is going as crazy at 100% and air flow is as on a new PC, I mean, what else by blowing air a fan should do?
I also went back to win 8.1 in hopes of some sort miracle but nothing changes.
Is it possible, that my gpu is simply broken?
