Hello-
I have a bunch of mp4 videos from cellphones, converted Sony HandyCam video files, etc., that I want to want to make into organized home videos. The last time I did this many years ago, I had Windows Movie Maker and it allowed me to burn to disc. Now Windows Movie Maker is gone and apparently the burn to disc feature was removed, anyway.
So this is what I want to do:
1) I want to be able to organize all my videos and edit on the software, write captions, title pages, make transitions, etc. Nothing fancy. Just basic video editing.
2) I want the software to be able to make a "top menu." Meaning when I put the disc in a DVD or Blu-ray player, a simple menu comes up that shows the different "chapters" on the disc. Chapters that I can create and label.
3) I want to be able to burn all of this stuff onto a blank blu-ray disc and be able to plop that disc into any regular 'ol Blu-ray player and have it play. If that's not possible, then a DVD. My computer has the Blu-ray burner/DVD burner listed below.
Over the years, this video editing tech has passed me by. Do all the "popular" video editing suites (like Nero's or Filmora) do all these 3 things above, or do you have to hunt around to find all these features? Even though I've googled for answers to the above, I'm still a bit confused. I'm not looking for "freeware" necessarily. I don't mind paying for good, reasonably priced software.
Thanks for your time!
My specs
