Hard drive crashed on Toshiba satellite L755D. I have a new hard drive. Can I reinstall with recovery disk?

I have a Toshiba laptop with a bad hd so I replaced the hd. I want to reinstall windows but obviously have no hidden partition left. They have recovery disk for $30 but I want to make sure I can reinstall from these before spending the money.

yes the recovery disks are the same as the partion. when you run the disk it put back the restore partion and all of the orignail software onto your laptop.

Get recovery disks and reload. You will lose all your documents, pics etc. You might be able to put your old drive into another computer as a secondary drive and retrieve docs from there to usb or dvd. you will need an adapter to put it in a desktop
