Has anyone noticed any difference in HDMI Cables?

Has anyone experienced differences in HDMI cables based on the thickness of them?

for example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882021247 looks like a pretty thin cable, but is of similar price to some oth the thicker ones. Also, what is 'redmere' Thanks!

Redmere appears to be a small chipset in one end, that draws some power from the HDMI port. Apparently, this allows thinner cables.
