Question HDD not showing up brand new laptop

So my laptop came with ubuntu on it, put windows on a usb and installed bla bla bla but had to change the HDD from GPT to NTFS, did that in the cmd and must have done something wrong as now the hard drive cannot be located in the bios or anything, so im stuck with this usb with windows to boot it and nothing works

Do you mean changed from GPT to MBR? Not same thing as NTFS. Just trying to understand what you may have done in order to assist.
