HDD Password Removal

i have an Asus Q500a and for some reason it is now asking for me to enter an HDD password (i somehow set the password when wiping and trying to install ubuntu) i just would like to know how to make it not ask for it anymore. in bios it says HDD password installed how do i "uninstall" it. I HAVE THE PASSWORD, IT IS MY LAPTOP. i just don't want to type it in every damn time.

Most BIOSs have an option to remove the password. If not, try changing it and not entering anything in the new password box.

i've tried removing it from bios, but it is grayed out. Cant see to find anything on how to disable it. i have it set to blank right now but still kind of annoying when i restart my laptop.
