Hello, I have a Soy BDV-E280 HT and HP Dv7 7212-NR notebook with Intel HD Graphics 4000 and nVidia GeForce 650M with Windows 8.1.
My connections are:
NB -> HT -> TV.

Everything works fine, except that I can't play anything in 5.1 channels, only stereo.
I tried everything, since update nVidia and Intel software, disable intel graphics in BIOS (but not have any options), disable default sound and Intel Graphics on device manager (HDMI stop work).

I have no idea what to do, does anyone solve the problem?
I searched all over the forum, but found nothing that helped me.

Aah, I have Windows 8.1 Pro, and, sorry for my bad english :).

it could very well be that despite having hdmi input, your home theater does not accept 5.1 input. some home theater in box (htib's) solutions only accept 2.0 input and only output 5.1 from the included dvd/br player.

the first thing to do is verify if you get 5.1 from another hdmi input device.. such as a dvd player.

Can I test with TV?
I connected into a Samsung Full HD F5200, but don't appear any surround configuration in Playback Devices and the sound still passing by Intel video card.
