HDMI connection to tv is not sitting correctly in screen

Hi!, when connecting my laptop to my television and or monitor via HDMI cable, my picture is off center!? I've tried correcting this via tv menu settings and I am unable to adjust width, height, v position, h position etc.
please help

Hi,

You mentioned that the same problem is happening when you connect your TV to your desktop PC right? In your TV there should be an auto adjust feature that should match the resolution of the PC to your PC. Regarding your laptop or desktop try to uninstall/reinstall the graphics card driver or better yet do a clean install.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall NVIDIA graphics.
- Open Program and Features then uninstall anything related to NVIDIA graphics.
- Download and install the latest driver there is.
- Here's the link: nvidia.com/download/index.aspx.
- Reboot the laptop once installed.
